Developing player confidence, discipline, character, skill and team play through instructional youth soccer training while being in a fun and exciting environment. Our goal is to introduce the game of soccer to our youth and hope that they will continue with the sport through their teen years and into their adult life.

In 2009 two Glenview IL Residents decided to develop a program catering to kids between the ages of 2 and 8.  Youth soccer programs in the area did not offer top quality coaches for youth soccer players.  The creation of Little Legend Soccer Academy offered youth soccer players a chance to learn the game from top level coaches.  Director Tony Youhanna and George Solomos created a program that encourages young soccer players to develop a love for the game.  Developing a curriculum younger players can benefit from in the future.

September 2009 marked the beginning of LLSA ( LL Soccer Academy) in Glenview.  At  first, our youth soccer programs offered clinics that consisted of 35 soccer players.  Today Little Legends Soccer Academy has over 400 players in the Glenview area and continues to grow with every session.  In time we are looking to develop a prestigious Soccer Academy on the North Shore with a world-class youth soccer program.  The quest for success has drawn support from local business and families.  The Academy has gone from a single location in Glenview Illinois to multiple locations that offer youngsters a chance to grow in soccer with our innovative and proven youth soccer drills and games.  Little Legends Soccer Academy offers clinics year round in Glenview, Highland Park, Lake Forest, Northbrook/Deerfield, and Wilmette.

Little Legends Soccer Academy will continue to work hard and develop relationships with surrounding cities on the North Shore. Expanding to surrounding areas and providing top level coaching for youth soccer players.  Starting with younger ages to develop a love for soccer through fun exciting youth soccer exercises and games.

What are the age groups?   Little Legends works with players starting from 24 months to 8 years of age.

Do the coaches have background checks? All coaches must conduct a background check before being employed.

Are coaches licensed? Little Legends only hires coaches governed by the USSF or FA.

What does USSF stand for? United States Soccer Federation

What does FA stand for? Football Associations

How do I know if clinic is cancelled?  Parents will receive an email and cancellations will be posted on the website at www.llsoccer.com.

How are the games structured? Teams are randomly picked from week to week. This will ensure teams are balanced.

Does everyone play games? No. Only the 5 to 8 year old age group.

What if my child doesn’t know how to play soccer? No soccer experience is required to join our program. We accept all players will to play the game.

Does my child need any equipment for clinics? All players must wear shin guards and bring a size 3 soccer ball. T-shirts will be provided by LLSA.

Do the 2 year olds play with the 8 year olds? No. These age groups are split up with the 2 year olds being their own group (parent involvement). 3 and 4 year old training together and the 5, 6, 7, and 8 year olds training together (split up based on skill level)

What happens if I can not make it to a clinic that I registered for? You can email us and let us know that you would like to make up a missed clinic at least 24 hours prior to the clinic and can make up the clinic on a different day.
